marquee power on trouble???

Has anyone ever had this happen I hit the power button and the display fires up i hear the hv crackel but get no light and the diag lights on the clm are scrolling like kit from knight ryder I am at a loss any ideas?

reseat your cards. then the chips on them. Especially the CLM
clean the connectors on the CLM.

now when i power up the projector no diag lights are lit but i have no light from the tubes the hv does crackle it is a 9500 lc I have tried reseating all boards and componants including the chips on the cards. to no avail any help would be appreciated. Thanks

pull the HV leads from the splitter and try only one at a time.
check to make sure the lead from the PS goes to the splitter port labeled "IN"

see if one of the tubes is pulling it down.

ok i have pulled the hv from each tube and the problem is still happening. I rearranged the wires and reconnected everything and i am getting arching on the green tube top plate to the lc housing??? even if i disconnect the hv hdm vdm and focus. what else has high voltage that could arch???

also when i have everything connected and it does not arch you hear the hv kick in and stableise but no pic or error lights. if you turn it off then back on again you will hear hv and get 3 diag lights lit error h fail and v fail. will marquee 8000 boards work in a 9500 lc?
