I cleaned chambers with clr method, just 15 min with clr then 5 times rinse with disled water.. Then there was long period to wait until chambers dryed.

I filled chambers up to 1/4 with clr and moved/shaked those tubes that 15 min, all fungus was gone after that.

Not sure if the CLR will attack the plastic lenses or not. It's fine on the glass Sony and other tubes, not sure on the C elements on an LC tube.

I had the worry that CLR may attack the plastic , but went ahead anyway . I only left it in for 5 minutes of swishing around , followed by 10 distilled water flushes , thank god it worked , but what a major PITA Mad

While on a PITA subject , being new to the Marquee , why is the remote/user interface so retarded ?? , what a dopey interface Thumbs Down Thumbs Down Bloody nice projector though bar the f*cking stupid remote !!!!

What's wrong with the interface? I find it to be well laid out and almost every feature is quite intuitive. A Marquee 8000 was my first projector and I had no problems working my way through the menus to set things up.

What wrong with it ?? My opinion only . It needs 6 more buttons R G B off and R G B control function , like the Sony has . So easy .
