When the pot is set to 1.8v, I've never had any trouble getting enough width.

I don't think you need to go further than spec on this.

OK i did turn it about a quarter or half way and it seems to be fine. The only thing I notice now is that outside of the projected picture there is a faint light border in the raster. Blanking doesnt seem to be getting rid of it. Its like this in all the resolutions I have tried so far. Is this normal? Also Does it matter if this faint light is near the edge of the raster?

Never mind I realized I just had to turn the gains down to get rid of the faint lines around the image.
The only other thing I have noticed is that the projector seems to degauss it self every once in a while.
Not sure if it always did that though.
