I saw an older monitor for sale that can accept TTL and RGBHV signals as well as analog through a 15 pin joystick/midi style port.

I was just wondering what use the TTL input would be and what's the difference between that and RGB?

TTL - Transistor-transistor logic... It's a really old digital video signal used on computers. I think it was used on CGA cards and they were 320x200 or something. 16 colors or something. First color graphics computer output. You definitely couldn't use it for anything now (well, unless you had an old 8088 machine with a CGA card in it, I guess!)

That must be a mid-80's piece of equipment you were looking at. My Dad had an Infinity 'RSTV' (for Reference Standard TV) Wink front projector with a TTL input on it. TTL, but no s-video. I can't remember exactly, but I think that was 83/84 vintage.

Actually it's a '90's Mitsubishi 33" presentation monitor.

Yep. MDA, CGA, and EGA are all TTL-level signals.

Would you belive I still own a CGA card...somewhere. lol

I was thinking of running this with a steering wheel in front of it. According to the spec's it'll sync to 15-38 kHz I'm wondering if I can get 1080i out of it? I know it'll do 1024 x 768 at least.

If anyone knows where I can find the 27" version I'd be interested. That baby will do 1600x1200 at 75Hz.

About 4.25 volts!

I have a large presentation monitor... I need to verify the model number but it may be the 29" version of this set. It syncs to 1080i just fine, but the pixel size makes it pretty much unusable (think like .75mm dot pitch.)
