Phil,

That reminds me of something my Grandfather said when he was looking for a new computer.

Grandpa "none of my friends are happy with the vista's so I want to get a gateway that runs HP"

Me "Grandpa don't you mean Xp"

Grandpa "No, I want a gateway with HP, not one of those Dells with Xp"

I have a great time computer shopping with him, especially when he tells the salespeople exactly what he wants and refuses anything else. Wink

That's funny! Mr. Green That reminds me of my dad. He had an electrical engineering degree and was a math wizz (unlike me, who is a math dunce). He refused to use a calculator. He preferred his familiar slide rules. I guess he would have driven a Fred Flinstone car if they were available. Mr. Green

That's why I build my own computers. I don't necessarily like it (although it's much easier than it used to be) nor am I particularly good at it. I do it to help at least somewhat keep up with this quickly changing world.

I guess I need to get an iPhone. I don't need nor want one, but I guess I need to know how to use it.

I started my "dark side" with a Sony CRT projector built into a coffee table and a 72" screen ... 25 years ago.
(now that makes me feel old)

Currently have a Barco 1208 and a Barco 1208/2.
