That's funny! That reminds me of my dad. He had an electrical engineering degree and was a math wizz (unlike me, who is a math dunce). He refused to use a calculator. He preferred his familiar slide rules. I guess he would have driven a Fred Flinstone car if they were available.
That's why I build my own computers. I don't necessarily like it (although it's much easier than it used to be) nor am I particularly good at it. I do it to help at least somewhat keep up with this quickly changing world.
I guess I need to get an iPhone. I don't need nor want one, but I guess I need to know how to use it.

I started my "dark side" with a Sony CRT projector built into a coffee table and a 72" screen ... 25 years ago.
(now that makes me feel old)
