Last week I had a multi-day meeting across town (WAY across town) and decided to forego the daily back-and-forth by staying in a hotel near the meeting location. I ended up booking a room at the Hyatt Place through Hotels.com. The price was right in line with what Holiday Inn Express was charging - which is where I normally stay. I had forgot to get the address when I booked and went back to the Hyatt Place website to get directions. While on the site I decided to look at some of the photos to see what the place was like and ended up absolutely floored. It turns out that this place has 42" HDTVs in every guest room!! Furthermore, they've got a cool little mutli-port where you can connect everything from computers to game systems.
I immediately decided that I would bring my PS3 along with me and watch some of my BR movies while I was hanging out in my room. I've got to admit, that was one of the most relaxing hotel stays that I've ever had. Instead of endlesssly browsing through the handful of crappy tv stations that are usually available, I was able to kick back and enjoy HD movies.
It got me thinking though - have you guys run across any other hotel chains that have HDTV's in the rooms?

Only once, but I don't even remember where it was. 30 or 32" LCD bolted in the armoire where the old tube used to be. The places I usually stay (even decent places) have the sh*tty $149 "hotel brand" TV's complete with sh*tty picture and crippled remote.
The hospital where we had our little boy last summer had nice little flat panels mounted on the walls. No HD, but they did have a DVD player and the TV had video inputs that actually worked so I could hook up the video camera. That was impressive.

I have been in a few with flat panels but none with HD. All fuzzy feeds through cable or sat.

I travelled to Ft. Simpson In the North West Territories to conduct a workshop in November. This is the frozen north, small community, no cell phone service, the ferry was parked for the winter but the river had not completely frozen over yet for the ice bridge to be built so we had to park and take a helicopter across as the only way in and out of the community. I stayed in a bed and breakfast establishment that was undoubtedly the best place I have ever stayed. Top of the line appliances with stocked fridge, coffee bean selection grinder press, high end everything and a nice 40 some inch LCD widescreen connected to high def sat. and DVD. This was not in their house this was an isolated suit, they had the same system on their side as well. so if you find yourself in Ft. Simpson this is the place to stay, they have 6 rooms it's called Janor's Guest house.

I also stayed at a Hyatt Place in Fremont, CA that had 42" LG plasmas in every room. I liked it so much I bought a 50" Panasonic plasma a few months later and hung it in my bedroom. Damn thing keeps me up too late at night though. Going out to Fremont next week on another business trip and of course I'll be staying at the Hyatt Place.

The Crowne Plaza in San Jose, CA has 42" flat screen HD sets in each room now too.
But when last I stayed there (early February) there was no HD feed to go with it.

I am staying at the Palozza in Vegas in a few weeks. The room has (3) flat screens, one in the bedroom, one in the sitting area and one in the bathroom. Talk about overkill.

I was comped a room in Mandalay bay penthouse suites that was just incredible!! floor to ceiling windows and it had Plasmas everywhere like you mentioned. Watching a Football Game on a 50" plasma in the bathroom in a six person jacuzzi, was pretty nice.
