Hah! Interesting that no one here so far has signed up because of the HDMI stuff. Then again, I posted the thread in the CRT forum....

I like the fact that everyone helps and supports everyone here and the fun we all have be it joking around or? This is a good place to hang out and it's a caring community(I can atest to this personally)It'sreally nice to so people that you have never met step up and offer words of wisdom-encouragement or condolencs or even offer to drive a day or more to come to your aid.At the end of the daythis is a great place you have here Curt/Kal and it's filled with outstanding people.I'm glad to be a part of it
And the porns not bad either

Curt
I'm always like to keep up with what is going on in the "World of CRT's". There is something new once in a great while.
I also like to jump in and help out if there is a problem that I can help solve, but there are usually others that know more then me that take care of it.
And the porn here is way better then the disgusting stuff those guys look at over on AVS. Have they lost their minds.
Deron.

I originally signed up for the CRT expertise available here, but I check in regularly because I found that I enjoy the people that frequent the site and appreciate the great diversity of knowledge and opinion on display everyday. The good humour is also a big plus. It would make for an entertaining "Pub" crowd.

I voted for " The unmoderated freeflowing feel of the forum " but really I'm just a post whore. Number 2 post whore though.
BTW did everyone get the memo? Curt had his 17 000th post over at AVS yesterday. As I said I'm number 2, well here at least

Well, while I did not vote for that option, I did include in my first post that I'm camping out in hopes of news about Moome's XG HDMI card. I want that thing!

How did I KNOW you'd bust my balls on that....
"local" = "within a short drive, handy to stop by for a beer, a movie, to help hoist a projector, etc." Considering you and I have NEVER seen each others' HT's (because we're so @#%# far apart), you definitely ain't "local!" Even Dragan is an hour away from me -- too far to drop by very often.
I guess you should be glad I'm NOT "local," or you'd have to put up with me a lot more often. | Amen! I've seen how much food you can pack away. You're worst than my 14 yr old son.

Yes, the tall skinny guys can often put away the chow as much as the big, heavy guys. But, it's not the food I would be worried about - the beer that we like the best is also the most expensive - but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
As far as "local" I was thinking in global terms - given the global participation in this forum - in global terms, we certainly ARE "local". We're better off than being in Iowa or Idaho or the Dakotas!!! It's cold and lonely in those parts and the sheep live in fear of man . . . that's ALL I"m going to say on that subject!!!
But speaking of local, I'm going to have to meet this BucketFoot fellow - he's really close by. (I'm in Highlands Ranch, he's in Centennial (sp?) Surely he likes beer, because he's a baseball fanatic (see his website) and how can you sit through a baseball game without consuming multiple beers???
Anyway, I enjoy the times we Coloradan's can get together and watch each other's setups. We need to broaden our scope and get the other Colorado guys involved too.
Ahh, but I ramble - must be the beer.
