Best way to connect everything to 8500?

I am getting ready to purchase a Marquee 8500 and am a bit confused by the best way to connect all of my video sources to the projector. Should I be connecting all of my HDMI and Component devices into a receiver and just run one HDMI cable into a HDFury with that connecting to the projector? Assuming that my cable run will have to be over 15', will I need the HDFury Advanced Kit with AC power and a Green cable with the 5-BNC breakout?

Am I going to have any issues with only having one input to the projector? I looked at some of the multi-input Moome cards, but they were both fairly expensive and currently unavailable. Thoughts?

Edit: I should probably note that I'll be looking to connect a HTPC (not bought or built yet) and multiple video game systems to the projector. There may also be a DVD player, but hopefully the HTPC will make the DVD player unnecessary.

Yes, you should probably do the advanced kit because of the long run. There are some who would say that an AV reciever may compromise your pic quality, but with a low budget the reciever as switcher may be your best bet.

You can get a second RGBHV input card for the Marquee, it plugs in right next to the video input module. Curt should have one to sell you.

You can use the second RGBHV input card mentioned above to connect your HTPC with a VGA to 5 BNC breakout cable. Video games and DVD can be switched through the AV reciever (as long as it has enough applicable inputs).

Welcome to the hobby.
