So... I have a VPH-1042Q sitting here... and it has RGBHV inputs. I know it's not supposed to do anything higher than 480, but how far will it go? What would happen if I hooked up the HD-A2 with the Fury and tried the higher resolutions? Magic Smoke? What will it burn up? A few boards? I guess then I could pull the tubes and sell them. It can go up to heaven if you feed it 480p and up. In fact it will rise to heaven in a puff of smoke Smile

If you carry it all the way to the top of the Empire State Building and push it over the edge, I think it'll go all the way Laughing

Just kidding, I have no idea.

Strap it to the back of Devin Hester and it...could...go...all...the...way!!

Seriously though, pretty much anything over 480i will let out the Magic Smoke...but you needed an excuse to step up to an ECP anyways, didn't you?

Which one do you want, the 1000q or the 1042q? I have two vpr-722s remotes and two cables also... plus a bunch of other stuff, switchers, mounts, all kinds of stuff. Send me an offer in a PM.

Ray, I'm talkin' about giving this stuff to him if he wants to pay shipping and for me to palletize it. I don't see this as cutting into Curt's business. If Curt wants it for the same deal he can have it as well. I really doubt he would want it.

Get the 1042 and do a stack! Twice the brightness none of the RGBHV/HDMI switching hassle, just two composite cables too the two projectors. Very Happy
