ok here goes my d50q does some strange stuff
at first i could not get the remote to work at all then Curt told me about the 2 switchs on the back of the unit and to set them to 00,01 i did and i can get the remote to work only with the s cable and the setting in the menu is on
Curt told me about the 4 dip switches on the back of the a boad i set them as he suggested
and still no only works with the s cable

the second problem i am having is when i first fire it up with no signal all tubes fire up and then blue and green turn off
red stays on but at a low glow not full power someone suggested it could be the cr board on the red tube
does this sound right? anyone have a spare?

also on the a board there are 4 dip switches and a small switch also a momentary switch sw202 i think

what should they be set at as the 4 dip switchs are on the on position
when i set the small swtch to normal i get error codes 60 and 7

Yes, a wired remote does not have the IR components. Might want to check on that.
