You wanna take the lead in setting up the February activities, or would you like me to? I can see Jason and I driving up from St. Louis, first to your place, then to Art's, then maybe flying back to dark Middleburg.

Dude that would be awesome if you and your son came out! I think once we get a firm date from Gino, we should be good to go for planning.
Oh, and yes, you are right, the blacks in Middleburg are something to behold.

I just wanted to thank William for his hospitality over the past 2 weeks . We had a couple visits and each time I went to visit he was a most gracious host . I was held back by my crazy schedule but he was willing to drive 20 miles each way just to pick me up . It was my first opportunity to meet anyone from the CRT community and I must say it was like visiting family (the ones you do like) .
Now about the picture on his 12 ft screen OMG it was simply amazing . Everything was so detailed and the colors were brilliant . I have read all about other peoples systems , but I really can't see how it could be any better than his .
Thank You again William

Dear Scott;
You (and Larry) are most welcome. We had all these big plans of getting together many times while you were here. We were only able to get together twice, on successive Sunday nights, both times at the last minute. The first one was somewhat ruined by rain, forcing us to watch the game on analog NTSC. Yuck. At least the second time, we got to watch some Blu-ray. Its too bad you didn't get to see the results from the blendzone geometry tweaks, and the complete grayscale calibration I did on both projectors this past Wednesday night, in preparation for your anticipated Thursday visit. The blendzone has almost completely disappeared on almost all scenes. (And Cliff, this is without any blendzone correction being applied by the BlendZilla. The Bezier SE curve is absolutely linear!!!) The image now looks better than either time you saw it. Next time you come down big dog, we will do it right.
Thank you for the 10 foot long, 6 foot wide, 4 foot high box of King crab legs, cured salmon, and halibut steaks. Thank you for the jewelery for Cheryl. Thank you for teaching me how to beer batter fry the halibut. Don Wallace came over last Thursday (the night we were supposed to get together for the last time) and I beer batter fried the rest of the halibut we had thawed out on Sunday. He thought it was very yummy. You and he would have had lots of cooking topics to discuss had you met.
You are welcome in my home any time. Just let me know in advance the next time you are coming down.
Your friend,
William

The next time I won't let any silly training get in my way . It will be on my terms and my schedule . BTW the airlines lost my bag . Go figure . Still Waiting , missing my XBOX 360 Elite . They don't cover High dollar items either ( although I do need to investigate that further ). Once again Anyone that might be planning a trip to Alaska feel free to stop by and visit , my home is always open .

Scott,
Sorry I did not get the chance to meet you. I went to William's last Thursday night and we had some of the Halibut. Very good! Wish I had more!
I do plan on visiting William again (real soon!!!) before the crab legs are gone.
(William!!! Save me some!!!)
It might have been a good idea you didn't make it last Thursday night; when I left at about 10:30pm, it was so foggy it took me almost 1 hour to get home. The drive time is normally about 20 minutes. And I almost hit 2 deer.
Anyways, hope to meet you next time.
