Is this the one that was posted under "Church Equipment"? Someone at the A site started a thread about it otherwise it probably would have gone for less.

I would have never known about this set were it not for that post..

The only reason I bid at all is I have a 2 Ultra projector bid out to the CDN gov't, and I needed one more machine.. sorry!

Want some 1209s? Very Happy

ARGH

hehe mate, as long as you got it I don't have a problem.. I thought it had gone un-noticed. I actually rang them and spoke to one of the girls who told me its virtually un-used, so you should have a perfect set there - then in the last 30 seconds it jumped from 1690 to 2350 .. my snipe was for 2340!! LOL It didn't even register when I checked the bid list either. If I'd known you were after it I would have bowed out and not pushed the price up on you.

1209Ss? Sure, lets talk Wink

Kind regards

Thanks, my max bid was $2450, and I was wondering if I should bump it up in the last second. Glad I didn't. I always buy these expecting to install one tube at least.

BY buying up all of the 9" sets out there, I'll artificially keep 9" prices high.

Well, considering what this one sold for, and what you *usually* pay for them, compared to what you sell them for, isn't that effectively exactly what you're doing ? Did I miss something ?

I REALLY didn't need this set. THe only reason I bid on it is for this possible contract that I have. I was short one set, this one will cover it. If the CDN gov't budget goes like it typically does, then the contract will be scrapped and I'll toss it out to the wolves..Smile

for $12,000.00....of course...Just curious, are you charging in CAN now ? Or still pricing in USD ?
What did that come out to in CAN for that set today ? Did you make enough on the exchange to pay for the freight ? Wouldn't that be nice, eh ?
