I thought I would throw this here for maximum exposure. I had it burried in another thread.
I need pumpkin ideas. I have a few already but still have 6 I need to carve.
So far I have:
1. Charlie Brown
2. Snoopie as flying ace
3. Wolf baying at the moon.
4. Edvard Munche's 'The Scream'
5. Comadore logo
I especially need an idea for the 30 pounder. Sugestions?

Charles addams had a new yorker cover of a jack o' lantern in the field with the eyes and nose carved out, but the mouth was in the middle of being carved. the knife blade was sticking out as if the carving was being done from the inside...
i did this one year. i cut out the bottom of the pumpkin and hollowed it so that the top was intact.

ohhh that's an interesting twist.
I just finished Snoopie in his flying ace outfit. It turned out great!

Mine has a tongue sticking out in tribute to Gene Simmons.
Of course, it will be an interesting experiment to see the reaction of those teenage girls.

I'd bet most of the girls won't even know what it's all about.

Well, they may not get the GS association, but I think a tongue is a tongue by any other name.

When there is no more time to carve or paint, a quick application of electrical tape in your chosen design can work well.
