I have an opportunity to pick up a non-working Runco DTV-1100 (I think this is an Barco 1209, but not sure). The tubes look to be in excellent condition. Not sure whats wrong with the chassiss, but really have no use for it.
My thoughts were that if the tubes are compatable with my G90 I would keep them as a replacement set. I am not sure if they are the same type of high resolution crts or not, but if they are it would be a great find. Does anyone know if these CRTs are compatable (maybe with mods?) with a G90.

Anyone know? Sounded like the Runco DTV-1101 Terry had for sale the other week had lugs. If its the same for the 1100 and they could be converted for a

I dont know if the tubes are swapable, but i do know that the 1100 is a KICKARSE pj. It's a shame to take it out of circulation if it can be fixed.

IMHO its a hair below the g90. The 90's colors are slightly richer, more vibrant.
I'd be REAL HAPPY with an 1100.

Jim,
As was pointed out you should open the set and see if the tubes are P19LUG's. If so they are the same tube as used in the G90 which has the part number P19LQF.
Also a shame to take that Runco out of circulation. Really a very very nice PJ.
