Hi
I sat down to watch a movie and turned on projector and can't seem to get it out of standby mode, this is a Barco 1208/2
the standby light is on {red} on back panel near power switch.I put a new battery in remote and it seems to be OK,lights on remote work when buttons are pressed.
Any ideas are welcome.
thanks

If the projector works with the wired control panel, it's probably the remote. Try setting the remote address - press the recessed address button, then zero. This should solve the problem. I had to do this after replacing my batteries.

My bd 808s has done the same thing if the power cuts off and back on. I had to unplug the set for several hours then it was fine.

If internal remote won't get it running, you have problems probably in smps.
Check F100 fuse from smps main board, it's that one with screw top casing.
