It's a comic about gaming called Penny Arcade - www.penny-arcade.com. I've been reading it for nigh-on ten years now... Surprised

A lot of it isn't funny if you're not a gamer, but some of it transcends the boundaries, that strip being one of them.

So Arnold, how many organs do you own? I must say that I clicked on a few of those links two days ago, and I've been utterly fascinated by them. I saw on one site today that you own a large (105-key?) fair organ. Is that true? I told my wife last night that I have got to see one in person.

In fact, I'm so inspired that I've decided to make it a father-son project for myself and my two boys to build our own 20-key busker organ in the next couple of years.

Please tell us more when/if you get the chance.

Considering the company name is Cherry Restorations, I would have to say it's about perfect. Thumbs Up

He hasn't posed here in quite some time. I'd like to see updated photo's of the project as well. I am of course more interested in the mechanical aspect vs the toy's end of the deal. Wink

I thought I'd just give this a nudge. I've been looking forward to the finished project.

A quick update as to where the project currently stands:

During the last six months priority was given to the 'normal' living areas since things were so far behind schedule. Other than the HVAC guys doing the duct rough-in, not much activity took place in the theater. All of the speakers, amps, and Dolby equipment arrived several months ago, but it had to be placed in a storage trailer on the site. Crying or Very sad That equipment is now in the basement awaiting the construction of the speaker platform.

The construction crew is now able to dedicate more resources to the theater, and I'm happy to report that construction (on the theater) resumed this week with the electricians beginning to run the power circuits, as well as completing the wire runs to the location of the three front arrays, the two sub arrays, and the ten surrounds. As soon as the electricians finish their work, the final insulation installation takes place, followed by sheet rock.

Leo Bassett still has the lenses. They won't be delivered until the install. I'll see if he can post the pix you want directly.

Did you see the 'user review'?

ProjectorCentral user reviews for $10000+ projectors are a riot to read...
