I failed to set my DVR. Sad

I am a Dish subscriber as well and I'm thrilled at the ability to archive onto hard drives. But my impression was that they would be saved in such a way that would prohibit viewing on any other account's DVR machine much less viewing on a PC. Of course most things can be hacked. Have you heard of this hack being at or near complete?

Here's some info about the external, it seems that it reformats the drive and only allows you to connect if the drive is in the same config as it was when it last connects.

I'm certain that it will be "adjusted" sooner than later.

But i'm against the "H" word. Thats unfair.
Thumbs Down

OK, "adjusted" to allow more flexibility (and fun) within the realm of "fair use". Sorry, didn't mean to offend.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Not to hijack this thread but did you see that a cellphone repair company just trade him a new 350Z plus 3 new iPhones for his "worked around" iPhone? Hopefully the 350Z will get him some date. The boy is homely!! A face not even a mother could love. Well, unless he looks like mom. Shocked

Yeah, ya gotta also love the part where he said he didn't want people using the plans to hack iPhones to make money. He didn't want making money involved. Then he trades the iPhone for a car. Principles are only good to a certain point. Hmm, principles or 350Z, uhh, goodbye principles. You tried your best to get me laid but it just didn't work out. 350Z will have a better chance, even with its lacking back-seat. Bow wah, chicka bow wah!

Ohh yeah. Hope he can drive the 350Z can be a little tail happy. Then again if he can't drive a little tail with the 350Z he'll never see any.
