I am not into rap - I barely know who this guy is. But I woke up in the middle of the night recently and decided to watch a little tv and came across this program called Cribs on one of the music channels. I've seen this show before. It's where grossly over-compensated and - mostly, in my view - undertalented celebrities, mainly from the entertainment world, show us how they've spent some of their millions. Largely, these are overwhelming, gaudy homes oozing excess in every noke. Some of them have home theaters with front projectors (not well designed HT's, from an ultimate video point of view). The theme of the show I was watching was the top 12 - in price - cribs. First shown at number 12 was ICE-T's home at a cheapo $12,000,000. So he's going around showing us everything when he hits a remote and what drops down from the ceiling but a crt front projector. It looked like an older Sony, not sure which one. Certainly not a G90, G70 or even a 1292. Maybe something in the 12xx series? Or 1xxx? I don't know. Not one of the top crts, which is kind of unfortunate considering how much money was wasted on other stuff.

Still not into rap, but maybe Curt should drop this guy a line and tell him that a guy with his bucks should own the best projection system also.

Ice-T's crib was on an episode from 2001. I'd like to think he updated it.
Also that's before he married Co-Co. I'd hope he got something that'd really show proper "flesh-tones".
Anyway, last I heard, he was back in Jersey, cuz he's still doing Law & Order.

I love watching that show, just because people spend all that money, and how many of them actually get their money's worth??
If I had the money, I think I could do better than most, when it comes to the Home Theater.

Even with Viagra and Cialis at his disposal...alignment will ALWAYS be the hardest thing in his love shack. Rolling Eyes

Didn't Fabio have two theater rooms? One for himself, and one for his folks, or some such. Of course then he ate a bird ...

The 4600 was for the people that liked to watch a blank screen.......

Yep. Because they share the same basic physical shape as the 120X Barco, they would simply shut it off and pretend they were watching a Barco at a photographers house Laughing

IceT is one of my favorite bit actors. I almost always enjoy the movies he's in. He's old school too, in more ways than one, it would seem. Smile

Shouldn't that be re-cap a few boards? Example. Yo yo yo C, you need to re-cap a board for me. Yo yo.
