My 8500 has is doing something weird. the left and right of the image bounces in and out every few minutes. it never did this until I mounted it upside down. I would say 15% of the image on the left and right seam to shrink in or bounce. is this a hv power supply problem? the only other thing I have done is add a hd furry.

Hello

Try reseating the HDM, it sits upright in between the green and blue tubes. And remove the foam strip and pad the sleeve cover with 3mm thickness of layers of strips of duct tape to push up on the edge of the board.
