Shipping is approx $500 Smile Well, that's what it cost me for a Barco 1209 from Curt.

Door to door?

You are kidding me.

It cost me US$300 to ship an XG from Singapore with Bax Global + A$300 to get it to my Father in laws factory which had a forklift (through customs, GST, brokerage, and courier). Almost A$800 at the time I think - luckily the XG cost next to nothing or I wouldn't have done it. No forklift and it would have been more.

And from the US it was costing Graham around A$1100 to land a 1292 at his door, I seem to remember.

Did you do all the customs/brokerage stuff yourself? It can be done, but it's a PITA, particularly when the airport is on the dark side of the moon compared to my house (midweek arrival, would have had to take leave and a take a mate to pick it up).

Good luck with it though - sounds like sync trouble to me.

sorry dude,Cliff has you beat three ways
however,....as the chief adjudicator-grand poobah interpreter of the rules of "you suck" (self promoted)... I will issue a temporary decree of suck-sess pending formal verification: based on your supernatural reaction time in responding to the ad,the un-f*cking-believable price, and the implausibly low hours you will be penciled in to the ledger.

YOU ( sort-of) SUCK

P.S. I hope a flock of rainbow lorikeets decide to roost in your attic, roos sh*t on your stoop and salties move into your pool, otherwise have a great day....

Just a thought....
Being fromt he land of Oz, I know not much about American Geography, however, I think the PJ is on the East of the Continent and Curt is on the west ( Albeit a different country and considerably further north! )
Why not get it shipped to him, get him to give it a good look over, clean it, diagnose and fix your problem, athen you 'll have a top notch "You Suck" entry arrive fresh on your doorstep - ready for use.
It may cost you a little more in shipping, but probably not as much as getting parts shipped over here, time to diagnose and fix etc etc....
Congrats and goodluck!

Hiya Ben, yeah I contacted Curt about this very possibility. He hasn't got back to me yet.

I have the service manuals, the theory of operation and access to some of the finest engineers this country has to offer. Whilst they may not be at Curt's level, they are willing to 'give it a go'

Mark - its door to airport - my father has a van and is retired.

Well,

I purchased my second G90 off Craigslist for $2,000.00! It has 2900hrs on it, fully functional with 16:9 wear on the green. Then, freightquote misquoted the shipping and I got that for $160.00. When it arrived, it came with a mount, remote, and a cheap Deuce scaler as a bonus! It has a few scuffs on the case, but other than that, it's the steal of the century coming in at $2160.00, shipped!

Here are a few pictures.

Doc

P.S. By the way, I am looking for a used Green 9/10 for the second unit if anyone has one!
