Is that some Zen thing like "The stairs go up and down at the same time"?

Yup. I was just being a smartass when I threw it out there. But still....
With 2 identical pj's with identical wear (in this case none) one shining from the front, the other from the back, could it be done? Almost seems that there would be some cancelling out going on??? And what in the world would the screen material be made of?
Anyway, I was just messing around when I tossed out the acronym.

No Greg, I think your on to something. Dolby Surround Sound coupled with JustGreg 2.0 Surround-o-vision. What good does it do to hear the jet flying behind you if you can't turn around and see it? Just sit your butt in the middle and enjoy!

No no no, you've got the wrong idea. FPRP will just have your projectors fighting each other, throwing photons in opposite directions.
Why not make the maximum use of every available lumen: feed one projector directly into each eye! Think of the 3D applications you could do!!

Yep that's where greg was going with that. That would be an interesting way to stack. Say would you need to swap the positions of the red and blue tubes in one of the projectors to make you picture perfect?

Interesting question AR. The way I see it, there are 3 options . . .
1. Greg's way. The two projectors fight it out and the best one wins.
2. Gary's way. The user goes blind from over exposure to photons.
3. Your way. The perfectly aligned photons from the identical projectors intersect each other at right angles to the plane of existence and the universe collapses in a massive explosion.
f*ck it. I'm with you AR. Let's switch the tubes!!

42 on that 6x7. Lets hang the projectors with the front one on the celing and the rear with a 0 deg projection angle parallel to the screen. Then you can get an auto-darkening welding hemet and turn it up to 11. Eleven everything at 11.
Then you can wathc Monty Pythons "The meaning of life"
Yep although that may open a rift in time and then not only will you have to align 6 guns with the rear projector inverted in relation to the front one but you would have to play two instances of the movie and align them perfectly. Just think of the fun you could have with that setup.

We are so lucky. If this thread was over on the A site it would have been closed in nanoseconds! They just closed a thread discussing how the price of CRT's has dropped lately.
What a control freak...Dwight Schrute I suspect.

Now he deleted another related thread....OK I did compare him to Dwight but come on...guess he doesn't have a sense of humor. Maybe I can get banned. Wouldn't matter really.

Ah man you guys are hilarious. That was some good reading.
Speak Greg AR? sh*t! Tell ME how to do it would you? I gave up leaving reminder notes to myself long ago because I had to go find the wife to interpret them for me.
I like the letting them fight it out idea....kinda like putting a humidifier and de-humidifier in the same room.
I'm really surprised there was no mention of a flux capacitor and a HVPS modified to produce 1.1 jigawatts.
Too funny.
It's nice to see some silliness amidst all the serious personal threads lately.
