I love the image from this screen, but I am not sure what to use to clean it with that won't streak.

Thanks!

I just used a couple damp paper towels with a weak Windex/water mix. Followed with a dry towel to kind of "buff" and remove anything left behind. I didn't have any streaks.

I don't have a DW screen but I recommend a microfiber towel. One damp followed by one dry, to buff. Buff it pretty hard. The microfiber (MF) will not scratch.

If you're a Costco member, they occassional have some. They're quite good and cheap. They're yellow and in the automotive section. OH! Fold the towel so the edge stiching is not exposed. It's not as soft as the fabric. A good test of MF is to polish a new, unscratched, blank CD (I use to use AOL freebies Wink ). If you can see scratches on the CD, don't buy that brand of MF. The Costco MF past this test but the edge stiching did not. When you wash MF, use liquid detergent, wash them separately. do NOT wash them with cotton, no fabric softener, no cholorine bleach, Oxiclean is fine, Shout or other pre-spot products are fine, do an extra rinse cycle. Then air dry.

It's countertop fercrissakes. It's not quite indistructable but it's close. You can clean it with just about anything soft and gentle and not worry about it a bit.

Exactly. I think you could probably throw a frickin' shoe at it, spit on a tee shirt sleeve, wipe the scuff mark off, and go back to watching movies. Since I have a two-year-old, I figured the durability factor will come in mighty handy in a few years.

Yes, but he ask how to avoid streaks. The MF fibers to a great job of pulling containments off of a surface.

OK! I went a little OCD with the MF testing and washing.

Yes laminate is very durable and kidproof. Just don't set a hot pan on it. Ask my wife about that one.

A J-cloth will probably work just fine. Also try the blue shop towels. They are lint free and leave a great finish on windows.

Agree. I used the 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive for the black trim around the outside. There was some overspray (me being sloppy).

I used Goof-Off to get it off, and there was no effect on the WilsonArt.
