I finally got around to doing an 03 VIM...
This 03 VIM is KICKING!! And I've still yet to calibrate the projector, I'm waiting on a few more parts for the VIM first.

A really nice transfer i have to say. Lots of helicopter moving pans, helicopter going one direction while camera moves the other. A real test I bet for Digital as on the CRT there is a blur, but that can be from the filming itself as well.
Colors are off as My probe is out for the LED add on. I messed it up so this is what I got so far.

Still not Calibrated so its pushing Blue, a little bit more red on the right PJ as well.
Not sure what I am doing wrong with the iOne Pro but i am not getting the proper readings.
If i go by what the probe says everything goes brownish red mid IREs and yellow greenish Higher IRE's
BTW these Discs are a must Have, I thought the special editions of each movie spread out on 4 SD DVDS that have less compression looked good. these rock!

I will be waiting for the SE version at least.
SE where two disks with two disks bonus material.
Still a bit tempted though...

Almost there Mike,
One more revision and you'll probably bring the Marquirk up to the quality that I already enjoy

OK, now you've done it.
Are you going to force me to use my less than great photography skills to prove a point? I will post a list of my limited selection of BD movies. You pick one and a scene with the exact time you wish me to snap. I do have DVE if you wish to select a test pattern from that. Choose wisely as I'll only post one.
I'll post it so you can have a laugh.............or perhaps NOT!!!
I hope you have napkins handy to whipe the tears from your eyes and drool spewing from the corner of your mouth
I'm working outside this afternoon repairing my fence after this wonderfull winter. I'll do the snappy thing after dinner.
Good things come to those who wait.

OK I took a snappy, What should I re-size it to to post it here? Also, How do you show it here so it fills the post area.
I want it to fill as much of the area as I can so you can pick away at the poor AmPro.

Instead of me screwing around for a hour trying to figure out how to do it, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you to post.

OK so tell me how to post a picture in that format. When I find my DVE disc, I'll post test patterns.
You'll notice some green blooming and top and bottom left hand corners the blue convergence is whacked a bit.
I need to contact Curt for some more AmPro neck boards. Those were the best three I have. The red and blue never bloom but the green starts at 75% contrast and the blooming follows the neck board.

Hey it's a 9" L/C machine with new tubes, it should look good, and it does. Maybe I'll post some pics from GOZER now. Or maybe not.
