Oh, forgot to mention: All shots were taken with the lenses that will stay on the PJ: The plain old simple HD10...

The standard HD10 lenses were as you indicated great in a lot of ways, but they were not high resolution lenses. The later versions were all for the most part 12 line pairs. For 1920X1080P it should be best to go with 12 line pair lenses, but of course the HD10's may be preferable.

Hi,
to be honest: I don't care about specifications as long as the result on the screen is convincing. And in this case it is...

I now have installed the green tube in my main setup, and hopefully later today I'll do a quick setup and post a few shots.

My setup now has a Green LCP, with both Red/Blue being LUG's. So somewhat mismatched (for now), but I still have the perfect video chain for that..Very Happy

A 25 minute setup. Pictures taking with Iphone (grainy). The right side is completely out of convergence, because only the center was converged.

I'll get back to this sometime later this week and finish things up.

A few more after a quick convergence. Green CRT has still only had center focus, with right side terribly out of focus. But since I don't intend to leave this green CRT in there for long, the image is what it is.

But the video chain is top shelf, and the shots were taking with my Iphone once more:

Great, and since you want to compare my shot to your shot, knowing my projector is NOt fully LUG and also that the Green LCP tube has not been really dialed in at all. What I'll do from here is post a few more shots for you later this evening. And I'll await your comparison..Wink

I felt it was important to have some recent LCP shots as I am
mesmerized by the clarity of these shots by a crt projector. Owning a lug machine it is a different
picture than the LCP and to be honest I prefer lugs over lcp and these are the shots my projector
must beat before the Meet in October vs the JVC so to me these shots are relevent and the smpte
shots and pixel because if you can beat those you have one heck of an image. Oh and a lcp machine
is on my wishlist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
