Ok, I have set the magnets now.. but I did use a different way for this.

Rather then moving and centralizing the raster perfectly, on the tube face, I focused on getting the raster dots to stay motionless by simultaneously ramping focus up and down while adjusting the first pole.. until I got them firmly in place and then proceeded with making them as round as possible with the last pole on the back. Then with the remote centralize the raster.

But I think it worked out very nice and that's how I'll do it next time too.

I took some 1 on 1 you guys like so much. I just look at the patterns to see if look they sharp that's all I know about it anyway. And they do to me. Some corner and center shots.

Better colors now, richer some how, and will shot some screenies later tonight. But need to work on getting it less blue I guess. Again.

Drunken Wolf, do you have blue defocused? Try this, of into RGB focus and make blue very sharp and try again. I want to see what happens.

Well you have Way WAY WAY too much blue. Lower the Blue Drive way down. What do you have it at?

Blue drive 50 - Red drive 45 - green drive 90. Sub brite are both left at 50.

I took blue down to 40 and red up to 50.. looks a little better and will try and watch something to see how it looks.

My Blue drive is at 9 and red at 25 .

But everything is different PJ to PJ. And who knows what your camera is doing. My monitor is calibrated.

And red is also High, you probably did that to compensate for a blue to high.

Not sure if Mike took out the Gamma circuit on the Blue channel on the Vim I know he does that on some boards.

Wow, that low, hugh. Will try that too just too see. My monitor has green, red and blue at 50.. and might have blue touch to it as well.

I really could use Kurt right now. I actually thought of asking him over for case of Tuborg in return.

yeah Kurt has super human eyes lol Wink Not !

you really need to use a known working Probe and a Program, even HCFR would be good.

But your colors are way off in all your shots. it is hard to see when you begin to get use to a too cool image. then when its calibrated correctly you think its all f*ck*** up but actually correct.

Yeah I'll get a probe soon .. Spyder something for like 250$. So you think I can make it without a VP then? That's good if I can avoid that.

I'm off to see a movie now. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll follow up on that and then later get to the FGM mods. One that even I can do, maybe. But I'm going to have to do that.

Id get the i1 Display 3 , its much better than a spyder. And I think HCFR now supports it.

or get the chromapure bundle from here.

I didn't know what HCFR was for but I've got Chromapure in any case.

Anyway: ..red 41 and blue 35 and with a more earthy tone to it now. A bit better I think. But the pix shows more green than from watching it.

And I haven't registered that the Indian kid, with the necklaces, has brown hair and not black! I don't know why haven't picked up on that before. It's just for reference for later.

It was this one.. I realize I've set it up with 800p now but the pattern has 817. I lost the other one with 800p..

Video chain I would have to look into.. but I believe I set XBMC player on 16-235(?) and the moome card is what it is.. I don't know what that has for settings. It's an old one and which I think makes small letters sort of glow with a white halo around them.

It can act up with having scrollbar in it or without it. I use without of course.

By video chain, I'm asking what Source (Blu Ray player, HTPC, etc) feed into what (Moome direct - processor).

The pattern is it on a Blu Ray, Generator or HTPC

The left side of that pattern group looks normal, but the right side is darker than it should be. You'll need to look into why that's happening like that.

With your other boards, how did that same pattern look. Was one side darker than the other?
