I'm not entirely sure, but I think I remember now.. long retrace gives off a discolouration on the left while short blurs it. On the other hand, blue discolouration is not that visable and struggling to actually see it, but the camera is nonetheless merciless and overemphasize it.

Again Camera does not show how poor a CRT is compared. Yu have to see it.
Your or any other CRT will look bad compared to a god digital.
That's the fact. And why I point this out look at the topic text.
What you guys can manage with a camera I do not care, but in real side by side test a crt will look flat and boring , big loss of HD feeling, Look like you have adjusted sharpness after drinking MUCH, and will wonder why do bother doing tis in 2015.
FACT but sad.
But keep them rolling your pictures are much better than a 3000000Mhz moddedCR , but you really need a calibration. |
No sharpening.

Why not use a professional Calibrator? |
How much do you suggest one cost?
EDIT: I don't have video processor so I guess it can't happen.

the best part is: no visible pixels or screendoor. |
You wouldn't be able to see pixels or screendoor effects on any of these screenshots even if the fill rate was a measily 1% since none of the shots are even 1920 pixels wide. To notice pixels or screendoor effects on screenshots with a digital projector with 90% fill rate would require the resolution to be more than 10 times the native resolution of the projector, so a 10800x19200, so a 207 Megapixel or better camera would be required and that doesn't exist. This doesn't even factor in any camera or lens issues.
Meaningless with screenshots as the camera does auto-exposure to make black black.

But the camera does that for everyone.

A picture have noting to do with how you see it on screen, but in a screenshot war you can make a 701 barco beat a 9"
Depends on the cameraman.
In real you will see that the 9" is much better. Or?????
I have seen fantastic shots of CRT and said wow that looked fantastic, but when just turning on a Sony or a JVC its WOW that was sh*t compared. The best I have seen was a Cine9 but still light-years away form a new Sony VW95 back then. |
Blah blah blah, and a Blah blah blah blah blah, Blah blah, Blah Blah Blah Blah.. did I miss anything?

Sendt it at screenshot forum where the rest of the fanboys show off their fantasy CRT picture.
The normal people here know what a CRT look like.
Know what result a side by side test with a Digital.
Make people with some knowledge of picture just see how
Far from reality you guys are.
You just proove the total opposite please.
Remember topic better than a VW1000 LOL |
