Ignore my comment Mark. Someone had screwed about with the colour profile on my display. Very nice picture.

How is 1080P 48hz?
I'm thinking about using this resolution/refresh for the meet.

Noticing that Judder now Cliff?? Seriously, if you don't see it, the flicker will probably annoy you more, but if you can test it out then why not, see for yourself.
My twins are singing along at 1080p72/75.... *almost* smoother than Jess' ass!

much easier when they only have to show 60% of 1050p

Yes, this is true. 1400x1050p72/75 is extrememly easy now. I tried 1920x1080p75 from my laptop to a single ultra for kicks, no sweat either thanks to MP's latest mods on my new 03 VIMs. But sending this much to each pj is overkill when blending. Now I've got tonnes of bandwidth to spare, the video chain can focus on other areas of my PQ

How do I take a picture of the smoothness of 72Hz?

I think I'm getting a little better with the over exposure thing (changes to EV compensation). I can now see more of the texture on the ground, while also getting good background detail from these 1080I images.

It's the picture of the other half of your smoothness comparison that's more important.

Big dog, you know that I don't have a problem with 1080P/60. I just want to make Clarence happy when he comes out!
I tried setting the VP50 to output 48hz and the G90's are locking on it. Tonight I'm going to copy my setup memories for 1080P/60 over and go through the maddening process of lining up 6 guns.
When they locked in, I really didn't notice to much flicker at all so I'm thinking I'm going to like it! Fingers crossed!
I tried 24hz and the G90's freaked out. I got the dreaded "out of signal range" which is wierd. They shouldn't have any problem locking on to such a low refresh........

You'll find most(all?) CRT's can't lock onto such a low refresh rate.
If you don't notice flicker at 1080p48, I'd recommend running at this rate. Nil judder, and you won't be pushing the G90's that hard that the picture may look sharper and you'll notice more background details etc...

Big dog, set up one G90 at 48hz and while there was some flicker, it was only really noticeable at 100ire.
I'm going to give a look and see to Clarence and Ken friday night to see what they think.
