I took and posted some of these same shots last night, to find out later I had the wrong VIM in the Marquee, so here we go again. The glycol on the green is really bad, but so is the red and green tubes, but not as bad as the green. You can see the green bloom/bleed in almost all the shots

Two different versions of the neck boards slightly cranked up. I think it's time to replace that green tube and replace the glycol. I'll need a gallon of IceClear

That is raster ringing. Selecting short or long retrace can affect it. It is an effect of, among other things, very slight imbalances between the multiple coils paired up in the deflection yoke.

Hey Mp thought I would join in the fun and picked one of these up http://www.digitalcamerareview.com/camerareview/canon-powershot-sx10-is-review/.

This is what you use and tics all the right boxes 10mp CCD sensor.

For 45.00 we can be on a level playing field my cloudy glycol vs yours. In fact I think all forum members should pick one of these
up so we are all on the same playing field what ya think??????????

Naw, you know you'll need more than a matching camera, considering also that there's a huge difference in blu ray players, and though our glycol would be about the same, that would be on the red and blue only. It's an entirely different thing on the green. It being very cloudy (check the blooming) and not matching as well because it's an LCP. So I'm far from being ready, but that should not stop you from posting shots if you want. Just don't do comparisons, because the differences are huge.

Switched Blu Ray players

And let me add this again. I have NOT touched focus or anything. I'm posting these from a projector that's far away from being setup properly, and because of other known issues, the images are NOT and should not be seen as what the setup can really look like

Great movie. Worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

I took a look at the setup and it was scary and tweaked the top focus on the red only. The left side is worse than I thought, but it still would not make sense to touch-up anything further until the tube and glycol change.

I've decided to hold off on replacing the green CRT for right now but will be changing the glycol.

A few more from inside the Sub, and then we'll move towards changing the glycol sometime soon. On these, I did a quick convergence on red only.

This time, I'm running my different set of boards. The first set is no more after today. The IceClear people are selling me a gallon so I'll be pulling things apart waiting for the coolant to get here, and will finally be dialing everything in afterward.

I'm shifting gears or boards here. The following shots are from a different board set altogether.

Made a change on my Pany Bly Ray, and decided to go and try the same thing on my Sony. The Sony normallty produced a softer image but had better colors.

Changed the colorspace from 4-2-2 to 4-4-4 and this is what I got...
