I would love to view that in person. Do you ever sit back and just enjoy it? I've read how you are always tinkering and calibrating it. Enjoy the fruits of your labor for a change. I'm jealous |
I did watch the entire movie this afternoon before I came to work. I liked it a lot. It is a must own Blu Ray.

Man, that looks awesome in spite of the digital camera compression and sharpening. Look at the detail in the beard, nose, and forehead wrinkles. Looks great. Man, seeing nice screen shots is REALLY making me miss my home theater!!!

At first I thought they all looked the same, with the same photo 3 times in a row, but now I see that C seems sharpest followed by A and then B.
But I think your pulling a fast one.. with the same photo 3 times in a row but that came out in 3 different ways. It could be as simple as pushing to hard on the photo button and they get slightly blurrier. The colors seems so remarkably same looking so that's what I think. CRT for this.
My second bet is CRT on all 3 but with 3 different settings with Darbee.
My third bet is you went out and bought a JVC x500 and use 3 different settings for sharpness.
It proves one thing: I know naathing.

I dunno... I don't recall you ever mentioning you had a digital PJ nashou, so I think they are all CRT (in different stages of calibration maybe?) The color looks too similar in all 3 to be a different PJ... I agree with wolfman!

I think it's either different Darby settings on the same display, or you're using some other form of image enhancement, because it can be seen in the previous shots

What about Darbee on level 1 - on your blend - taken 3 times in a row and yet 3 different outcomes?

It's not a Darbee

Picture B could be a Marquee as I see the typical ringing on the left edge of the picture...
