yeah -
you should have gotten a AMPRO 4600 instead.
cause this is just way too easy - a picture from the projector after just a few hours - hell you need to wait weeks/months to really appreciate your projector (aka like an ampro)

Hey, no Ampros allowed in this topic!
Well, the setup is getting better and better...
Still no MP modded boards in this machine though. I'll do that later...

Awesome screenshots Peter!
Glad to see you got the beast up an running and looking that good.
Can you post the uncompressed hidef version of that screenshot too?
Did Reinier do any color calibration too?
kal: That samsung logo sorta makes me think it's an HD promo disc.

Nice shots!
I love the detail, texture, focus, and color in that parrot close-up.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, what size screen and resolution/framerate are you using? Sources (How do you have it all hooked up)?

Mr. King is right: it's from a Samsung 1080i .TS HD demo called "The Beauty of Nature" with shots of forests, flower fields, insects, animals, sea life... Sharp, colorful and breathtaking! My source is a Windows MCE HTPC with a Nvidia 6600GT video card, from where a DVI cable runs to the Moome box and then a very short VGA to RGBHV cable to the 909. I'll probably be comparing the Moome to the HDfury in a few weeks.
The 909 is fitted with HD10F lenses that are uber sharp. I'm probably the only one running a 909 on a screen that small, but my screen is only 2 metres (roughly 80") wide. Given that screen size, and the HD10F lenses, the picture is awesome!

Kal, that Samsung demo is one of the highest quality demo reels available to us mortals.
It has an actual average video bitrate of 38.16 Mbps. Filesize is 2.61 GB for 9:05 min

It started as a shot against the "A" site. It's grown into a daily thing.
It an excuse to show up every day.

Peter - You asked about G2's on a 909.
I might have missed it but did not see an answer - there are no G2 settings, Tubes are meant to be swopped out in complete sets.
909 on an 80" screen thats wide or diagonal ???
My 909s will be running 54" wide screens
Thats looking real good Peter.
