After replacing all the boards, except for the power supplies, the projector has begun functioning once more. However, I'm currently facing an issue with the red tube's focus. To provide context, the projector initially malfunctioned due to a high voltage shock affecting the very same red tube, resulting in damage to the CLM. At present, the red tube is displaying an out-of-focus image, accompanied by what appears to be a shift in its positioning. The tube emits light, allows for contrast adjustments, and responds to changes in contrast levels, yet the ability to achieve focus remains elusive. In an attempt to resolve this, I also experimented by swapping the red tube with the green one, yet the problem persists. Could it be that demagnetizing the tube's front is the appropriate solution? I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice from those experienced in this matter.

What Kal said...........
........most focus issues can be sorted with good stig/flare alignments and lens setup.

Did you move any magnetics on the RED tube? Did you move the pole magnets at the base of the tube near the socket on the neck? How did a shock happen and only effect the RED tube. You said the tube raster shifted, how much did it shift? Pole magnets being way out of alignment can do that maybe half a inch. Do what Tim said but it would be helpful if you gave more information.
Also, I am not sure what you mean by demagnetize, maybe you are confusing direct view Color CRT's with a shadow mask that can become magnetized?

Make, model? My crystal ball is aging, and can't interpret the post.
