Hi,

I own a Barco 1209s plugged to a Radiance 2041 + OPPO 103. I get sometimes no picture randomly (sometimes none, sometimes 1 or 2 times per movie).
The Barco is still running but it is impossible to display the Barco Menu. I turned off/on the Lumagen and the OPPO. But the picture is still black. The only thing I can do to fix this is to turn off/on the Barco.
I opened the projector to check the leds. The only difference that I saw is a red led (the others are green) when the picture is black among a serie of 10 leds horizontally aligned on the first board on the left when the projector is on the ceiling and I face the screen. It seems to be the G2/Diagnostic board and the scan fail light. I do not see any other red light on the other boards. The control board is the same as if there is a picture displayed.
Which board could be faulty?
Thanks for your help

TV/Projector: All of them!

If the scan fail light is on, then the set has an H or V deflection board failure. Since it's intermittent, try to reseat both those boards. If it's a bad connection, then the problem is likely cured. Also, with the set off, move the yoke switches in and out, as those can corrode as well and cause the same problem. There's 4 switches total.

Thanks Curt, but how do you reset them?

He said reseat, not reset => in french : réinstaller (retirer et remettre)

I made a mistake after putting back the focus H shift board. I started to smell burn after starting the Barco. I turned off the projector and removed the board. One of the pin was bent. I saw a black stain both on the board next to the damaged pin and on the main horizontal board. I do not know what to do next Sad. The main board has to be changed I suppose...
