Damn it feels good. Been a while.
Best that with this nice full glass of Chablis next to me, quiet, my computer, some music and well........
I'm in heaven right now.
Check the theater. What do you guys think? I like this pic of the G90's lurking in the dark. I'm really loving this room right now.......
I did some sound tests today and I'm pretty happy with the results. There are some things about the room in regards to accoustics that I need to work on but the one thing that bothered me the most was that the sound was making up to my wife's room on the second floor.
Needless to say though, it was pretty cranked after I popped back downstairs and opened the door so I think I'm good.
I even got the WAF A+ today from the wife so that has me pretty stoked.

I am JONZING SO BAD right now to get these f*ck*** up and running. I cant take it anymore. I had that extremely short stint with Tim's kick ass Zilla box then back to nothing.....
Not to mention that I went 3 1/2 months before that without a theater period. Boy did that suck BIG TIME.
I'm glad that I FINALLY once again am on the brink of bliss. My wife is going to be pissed at me for AT LEAST the first 2 weeks after I get it up and running.

A quick shout out to Tim by the way for making the Zilla meet a most excellent experience for me.
Probably the BIGGEST difference between blending and stacking is sharpness. Love the great focus blending gives with these G90's.
Trust me when I say though, stacked G90's are still VERY sharp.
I'm especially lately looking foward to Don Kellog cranking 80mph down here with that RS1 in his car.
I truly think that everyone's supposed disappointment with this projector is very over rated. Especially with the opinions from all of the philes around me. It's been all good so they have to be cranking out some duds right now to keep up with demand.
I cant wait until 3 years from now when I take the stack down. The pickin's are gonna be really sweet.......

Cliffy, this pic is blurred. Did you include it as an example of your present state of vision?

BTW guys, the thread stays here from now on. Curt's forum is the best example of the friendship and knowledge of the hard core CRT owners from the day.
Every one of you are the reason why I'm in this state with my theater with Ken and Art being at the top and I'm extemely thankful for all of the knowledge that I gained thanks to EVERYONE.
Except RASTER.

Cliffy you are obviously having a good time. Makes me almost want to...nah!
I actually found some weed in a guitar case I bought. I kept it thinking I would smoke it someday just for old times sake. I ended up giving it away. I guess I'm just no fun anymore!

Funny thread. What a great setup you have/will have there.
I've remarked once or twice that my two favourite recreational items come from BC . One of them is CRTs.

Naaahhh... Cliff's from Chicago. He's smoking Illinois Ditch Weed, which is only slightly better than Cleveland Window Box.
