It's nowhere near an accurate representation of what's out there though. Of the people that still message me, I'd say 1-2% are on the forum here. That's the way it's always been. Not a lot of people spend a bunch of time on forums.

Just want to say,

Here in the PHilippines where HD sat or hdcable is only 1080I and slow internet gives you netflix at 1080P max.

My CRT will keep me and my family warm for the next five years.

Watching 4k movies hdcp stripped via hdfury vertex2 then processed by an old Lumagen 2020, and upscaled via HDfuryx4 to a moome internal card,Projected 10 feet away on a hi gain DIY screen, screen size of a moderate 105 inch (and diagonal).

On dark movie scenes , we Never felt the need for 1000 Nits lamps.
Sharpness on whole image were never missing.
Compared to a JVC n7(NX7) side by side without external video processor, CRT's colors are rich and natural, with inky blacks and reds. Flesh tones are comparable to film or even prints.

JVC digital only wins on graphics or subtitle text sharpness.
I wonder how good the JVC would get with a LUmagen 4k video processor.
