Guys, the proverbial crap has hit the fan. I am insanely busy with sound system installations, my company has grown 4-fold in the last 18 months, and continues to grow. Can't find enough guys to do the actual installations.
As a result, I have given frankly.... crappy.. service to those left here in CRT. I simply can't keep up with the demand, and am running myself ragged keeping up with being pulled in 400 directions at once.
Obviously, CRT pricing has dropped like a stone over the last few years, where any time I spend doing CRT stuff is more or less as a free service at this point.
So, between now and the end of September I simply cannot process any CRT orders, be it projectors or parts. The couple of patient people that have been waiting for a month or longer for CRT parts, I've told them to post here in this forum for others to assist. Tim, you have a ton of Marquee parts, I'm sure others have parts as well.
I just don't have the time right now, sorry. Once things slow down, I'll get back into it for sure.
Cheers!

Congratulation Curt, those are the sort of troubles all business owners need! this is a post I believe most of us have been expecting for a while now, and it is great to hear your transition back to sound is so successful.... the post I am worried about is Kal's version of this one

Thank you for posting this. I have been a bit worried about you after I sent an email a long while ago and never got a reply. Do not interpret this as offensive, but I do agree that your CRT service this year has been not the best. It's good to see you're still alive and that you promise to continue the CRT business after the storms have calmed. And congratulations about the sound systems success!
Just make sure you don't "hit the wall" in terms of stress and things like that. I've done it (multiple times). It's not good. Just as a word of advice, remember to always put your own health before anything/anyone else. It's harsh to say, but even family comes second.
Cheers!

I love CRT! I don't want to hear your opinion on CRT vs anything else. I use CRT because I want to.

Just like they say on the airlines: make sure your own oxygen mask is firmly affixed before helping others.

No, not at all. 10 years ago, I would have.
As I said on the OP, unfortunately CRT is now pretty much a charity thing, and since I still have a mortgage to pay, my time needs to be put where the $$ come in.
I did finally this weekend get a Vision1 case boxed up for one of our members that has been waiting over 6 months (maybe a year?) for me to get to it.
So yes, I am still here, and in case of an emergency, I'm sure I can help. Still, I am doing some really cool stuff with sound, touch screens, multiple audio channels via CAT5, etc, and that has my full attention. See some of the installs here:
(there's about 15 installs done in the last year that I don't even have on the site yet!).

Thanks for understanding!

Guys
Do contact me with any Marquee questions or parts needs. A fast response is assured, usually a few hours.
I have several sets of minty to new nine inch tubes here. I can bring in 180DMB22s at a great price also. I can do bellows/glycol replacement here on your tubes.
