Hello,

I own a BG 1209s. I am currently calibrating it through a Lumagen Radiance and Chromapure/Display 3 Pro. After reading old posts from different people (especially Craig CIREngineer), I was wondering if it is not counter-productive to absolutely try to get a perfect curve of 2.22 with a CRT projector. But if not, it means that you have only the "gamma factor" of the Radiance to play with and trust your eyes. With no reference because you do not know how the picture is supposed to look like unless your are the director of the movie that are watching Smile.

You don't trust your eyes. You measure gamma. See "STEP 2.5: Performing Gamma Calibration": https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=35322.html
