Price cap is about $300 -- no need to go full audiophile.

Looking to buy some powered monitors for my dad's computer.

The ones he has now are complete shite.

Was thinking of the Klipsch R15PM.

Any other recommendations?

What's he using them for? How will they be positioned? Ie: Is he really close to them? How far apart are they?

On his desk. For music. Pretty close. Using them on the corner of a really large wooden desk.

I have the SoundsticksIII but was looking for something traditional.

He is 60. Would like it to be integrated. No separate amp.
