I have a customer that has had a myriad of issues with a Marquee I sold him. No need to go into details, but the last issue now seems to be that the set is dead when the Moome card is put in.

Seems to me that there was a cure for that, although it was all tested when I sent the Marquee Ultra up, and it was working when he received it.

I know it's possible that the card shorted out, but wasn't there an issue with this at one point, or was that an old version of the Moome card when it first came out?

Thanks!

yes, but it was a really old DVI card. Had to do with a jumper that set the card to draw from either the 5 or 15 volt rails. Some Marquee's didn't like the draw on the 5 volt rail

I have the schematic somewhere if that's the card you have

I had one once that had a short on the Moome board that would cause the Marquee to shut down and throw LVPS error code. Founds the short and all was well after that.

THAT'S what I was thinking of, thanks! I'll send the guy a replacement card, I may have one here.

ok, found my notes. This was literally the first card he ever made, DVI and component video. The Jumper positions are J1 closer to edge of card on back/left side or J2 slightly closer to center.

Recommended spot is J2
