Thank you so much for putting this together! This is a saving grace for me once I get the darn thing mounted. Thanks again!

Dan,
If you start with a external cross hair pattern (Avia or?) and make it perfect as you can it will help alot building geometry. Bow and line distortions starting point. Doug

Hmmm..... Soon I will be out of the NEC set up business and will have time to do a detailed write up a how to do component part repairs on your boards with pictures Wink .

Actually Im somewhat glad to see a more detailed setup manual like this. I dont agree with all of it but you know my 'conservative-ness' Mr. Green Doug

This is just in fun guys. Pulling Curts chain abit.

I'm only trying to translate the Japanenglish manual into US slang-speak..Wink I'm actually taking some of this weekend off (gasp!), but will rework part 1 of the manual and am 3/4 the way through the 'geometry' part...

I'm off to install a video capture card into my Dell. This could prove to be more daunting than an NEC repair..Wink

I think I finally ran into this problem. I may have before and not have been aware of it. I rent movies online and rip them to hard drives for viewing when it's convenient. Not often, but sometimes a ripped movie won't play. I assumed this was due to problems during the ripping process. So lately I've been checking the movies after ripping them, to be sure they'll play. Last night I ripped Half Nelson. I checked it and it wouldn't play. I was going to watch a movie after I got thru ripping anyway, so rather than trying to figure out why it didn't rip, I just put the DVD back in and fired up TheaterTek. It *still* wouldn't play! This thread came to mind.

Does AnyDVD or DVD43 work with TheaterTek? If there is a preference, which one would work best with TheaterTek?

Ben,

You're right! I just looked for my post in the thread you linked to (to see if anyone had responded) and couldn't find it. So I searched my profile for my previous posts and found it here. I have no idea how I managed to post in this thread. Shocked I would delete it but that option doesn't seem to exist.
