It applies only if you're using coaxial cables. Set the switch to the 75 ohm setting if you are using 75 ohm cables,
and if they are 75 ohm cables they should be marked as such.

I can't specifically say that. For one thing, the connector styles may be different.

I would need to know what kinds of connections are available on your projector and what connections you are using.

So, what connection types are you using?

I'm not that familiar with your model of projector.

In general terms, video grade coaxial cables are 75 ohm cables. 50 ohm cables should not be used for video.

In the case where you are using cables with BNC connectors on them, be aware that the center pin on a 75 ohm type BNC
connector is larger in diameter than the center pin on a 50 ohm type BNC connector. Using a 50 ohm cable can result in
a poor connection and there will be a 3 db loss of signal strength simply because the impedance of the cable is wrong,
and using a 75 ohm BNC cable on non-video equipment is likely to damage the equipment's BNC input jacks.

The 75 ohm switch only applies to the VIDEO input. If you're not using it, don't worry about it.

If you are, you should normally be using 75 ohm cables (any cable MADE for video will be 75 ohms) and if not, then you'd set the switch to the non-75 ohm setting. Under those conditions you might see some difference in picture quality, probably in brightness.

The best 720p I had when I was running a BD801s was via a hdfury thru the rgbhv or input 5 I believe.

The standard impedance for coaxial video transmission is 75 ohm so only 75 ohm coax is suitable.
A 75 ohm coaxial cable must be loaded with 75 ohm at begin and end point to work correctly.
The termination switch set to of makes video input high impedance.
The 75ohm termination switch makes it possible to make a chain of users on the same video line in a passive way with bnc T splitters connectors.
First user and last user termination switch on ,all users between them switch of.
