I sold the my previous projector BG1209s.
The new user connected a bluray source directly.
This source provides a video signal at 1080p 60hz.
The image results too big than raster.
Perhaps the source have strange video timings.
Is possible to solve this issue without a video processor?

Hi,
I don't know if the 1209s has some setting for retrace time. At 1080p60 it should be set to "short" because on "long" the picture content sometimes won't fit into the raster. You too could check the blanking settings...

I think no.
The "blanking" in the Barco's menu are curtains that cut the raster around image.

Yes I know. But maybe the raster is simply too large (H and V size too large) and at the same time some part of the raster is cut off due to the blanking settings...

No.
The image goes out of the left and right edges of the raster.
It's independent than raster settings H size.

Sounds like the issue I had with my 1209s. Switching the toggle to enable hi-scanning mode fixed it. I've forgotten where its located but I learned about it from reading some old posts on this forum. That may be the issue. It sounds exactly like what I experienced.

Yes that's where I found how to enable hi scanning mode. Doing that solved raster being too large issue I was having.

You should be able to fit the image in the raster by lowering the HTHD voltage. The P2 pot on the smps is used to adjust this.

That won't change the image within the raster, that just shrinks the raster. I believe the high scan mode is in the service menu. If that doesn't work, you'll need a scaler between the source and projector, and shrink the width of the image within the scaler.

I tried to turn the trimmer in the vertical board. I suppose that the projector goes into Hi-Scan mode. But the left of the screen appear to be strongly deformed. Curt said very well: this problem can only solved by changing the timings of the image with a scaler. Or by changing the resolution.
