NEC XG Neck board removal

Hi guys.
So I need to replace the F-Drive board in my XG110LC, and I'm having a hard time getting the neck boards off of the B and G tubes. I don't see anything holding the boards onto the tubes other than the board connectors themselves but they don't seem to want to come off. I've managed to wiggle the top half of the connectors off on both boards, but the bottoms don't seem to want to budge. I don't want to put too much force into it out of fear of breaking a neck board or the tube neck itself.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

There is a clamp, which hold the neckboard firmly on the tube:
