How big is your room? The screen is going to be seven feet tall. I am not sure you are going to get a big advantage on light output by blending with a 16x9 screen.

Another option that is outside the box is a Torus screen. If you could pull off a Vutec UHG screen clone (basically a mirror with a diffuse coating on it) then you could get a lot of light.

Ratanee,

you should contact the guys from http://www.vnstw.com/pts.php?id=27&goback=. I know the G-202, a warp processor to fit a digital onto a curved screen, way cheaper than an anamorphic lens.

Cheers

That is an option, but IIRC Nash said it is lacking something.

It should be noted that you will also need calibration equipment.

I'll get some more detailed info about sizes during the weekend... I'm definitely sticking with CRT (if something goes wrong it can at least be fixed, unlike most digitals where sometihgn goes wrong, you pay an arm and a leg...) especially now... I went to pick up a HDfury today, and ended up with a HDfury -and- a Barco Graphics 808s with pristine tubes... There must be somethign wrong with my head... but oh well... Time to find some drawings of that lens converter plate I saw for barcos and slap my colour filtered HD145 set on there ... Smile
