Hi.
First of all sorry for my poor english.
After moving a G70 from Rome to Bologna (about 4 hour trip) the green tube no longer turns on.
No error code appears.
I suppose some contact has loosen.
Do you have any tip about where most likely is the loosen contact?

I'd really appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Ciao,
Stefano

check to make sure that the video neck-board on the back of the tube hasn't slid off the back of the CRT socket

I've never ad a Sony.
If it's not the neckboard (which seems very likely) is it possible to increase G2 without too much effort on the g70?
Then you should see if HV is provided to the tube.
But... isn't there a forum guy in Rome?
Don't have his name now, but I'm sure someone does.
Regards, Julian

Dragan is most likely correct. Let us know if that's it.

Ciao,
Stefano

No he means DraganM is probably correct in his diagnosis of your issue, in that he believes the green neck board has backed off the neck a bit and is not making good contact.

Unfortunately I don't know G70's projectors.
