Guys, I'm very sad to report that as per a Facebook message from Amy, Cliff is no longer with us.
I'm going to say very little here now, other than she has asked to pass the word on.

f*ck!

I don't want to say more until it's verified, but yes, apparently it's true.

I don't even know what to say.

I'm sure that much to many people's surprise Cliff and I spent the day together yesterday. We had fun and laughed and told jokes. Admittedly, he was in bad shape, but I didn't think this was coming so soon. I really thought there was hope for him still even though he was so down.

Wow... I never met Cliff, but from what I've seen of him on here he seemed like a great guy. Very sorry to hear he's gone Sad

Thanks for posting, Curt.

Wow. I don't know what to say. To be honest, I was pretty concerned about him - he definitely didn't seem himself. Still, I was hoping for the best.

Thoughts and prayers for his family and for the boys.

RIP, Big Dog.

Sad to hear.....I know this may be late but if those Projectors are still at his place, I think we should help her market them to help pay for funeral costs.

So apparently it is true. Barb is posting a pic taken at the meet last year, I can't do it from my phone.

I think Craig picked them up yesterday (or so his above post would suggest) - they went to a good home if so Thumbs Up

Edit: I think I saw that in another thread for a meet

Yeah, and I helped him move his SVS subs and Klipsch towers over to Amy's garage yesterday. I have a sour feeling that those were the last difficult things he didn't want his family to be burdened with. Those subs weighed a ton and I don't think he could have moved them himself.

Horrible news....

He would give you the shirt off his back and anything else if a friend was in need. His friendliness and outgoing ways never ceased to amaze me. He had open arms anytime of the day or night.

Sad, sad day.

Crying or Very sad

So sorry, Craig. Crying or Very sad

So glad I came down when I was in Chicago for AXPONA '14. Even if it was only for a few hours, at least I got to spend some time with him and some of others in the group.

I'm not going to go into details, but yes I spoke with Amy a while ago, it's sad. He was a trouble soul at times but he had a heart of gold. I will miss the late night talks, he was a good guy.

Amy will need help figuring out what to do with stuff. I told her I would help as much as I can but I'm in Kuwait for the next week or so. God I wish I could have a drink this is surreal.

I agreed. I wasn't close with Cliffy, but that was exactly the feeling I had.

Ditto. Sitting here at the office, feeling listless and trying to understand what to think and feel.

SIGH.
