Definitely figuring August-Sept. that's about the best time for warm sunny weather here in the PNW (Pacific Northwest!) Vancouver is very picturesque, so for those that haven't been here, there's lots to do once you're bored of sitting in a dark theater critiquing shifting Barcos.
I'm about 40 minutes due East of Vancouver, sort of in farm country, but only about 20 minutes from the ocean, and a place called White Rock. At low tide, you can walk for miles if you so choose. The local mountains are about 45 minutes away, etc. Ditto for downtown Vancouver, and more ocean.
