Those pictures are of the control board. The LIMO is a separate board and should be mounted to the left of the control board if your are standing behind the projector.
That cable runs to the switcher board. Remove it from there!!
I looked at that a second ago thinking there are no soldered wires but there is one but as mentioned it can be disconnected from the switcher board. Just remember to re-connect it before power up.

I hear you Casey, anything else come to mind?
To me there doesn't much else can be done, except maybe change the paint job!!
Obviously there is an answer to this issue, but it seems to be proving very, very elusive at this point in time, mind you without the thoughts and ideas of you and yours, I would have been rooted long ago, it's an interesting road to go down, but frustrating, however as everything else seems to be functioning at their "normal" adjustment settings, there has to be a solution, I do keep thinking about the "common" factor across the 3 guns, all the focus setting coming out at almost the same values at ZERO,It's a pity that the critical focus point cannot be passed from over to under, at least it would be watchable (though not ideally set electronically) but even at ZERO it doesn't quite get there.

HI km987654
I do realise where the LIMO board is and that in itself is totally dis-connectable, which I have done and tried out, and as said in the last post, it did not make any difference at all so was then in the process of following your 2nd suggestion until I hit the blue plug.

The blue plug has a white plug on the other end of the cable which is on the switcher board. You can remove it from there.

You can also leave the Iris board off (the small board attached to the control board) no need to use that for this test. Just change the control board with no other boards plugged in.

The fact the tubes are not the original part number for that set is probably looking likely at this stage, those part numbers are from the Cine 8 ONYX, and if that set has different focus yokes or deflection yokes that could explain it.

Original tubes for your set were P16LXV.

I can send you a P16LJE to test, but im not certain if thatll work in your set without a mod to the neckboard. If anything, the LJEs should be a bit longer in the neck.

I just love a genius!!, but it sounds rather complicated but very feasible in it's theory
So what would be the logical steps to take (if your surmising bear fruit) to rectify the situation, and is it worth the cost, I broke the bank to buy the Cine 8 thinking I was buying insurance...........this could turn out to be an expensive mistake??

Certainly could be tubes focus yokes combination. In terms of the focus yokes he has both so just check the part numbers. I would finish swapping the controlers though to eliminate those.

Yes swaping out tubes and yokes will be a bigger job, if the yokes off the 808s are from 180DMB22s they should fit a P16, provided the focus board is happy to drive them.

Before you go there let us know what happens when you swap controlers.

It does look like its coming down to Tube/Focus yoke combination. At least if you go down the road of fixing this by buying more parts you can at least be satisfied you needed to do that.

I was hoping the different software would change the focus characteristics because if it had changed some how your problems could be that you are not running the right version on the firmware on your Cine controller to manage the focus for those tubes but if there is no change at all then this avenue may well also be a waste of time.

It seems those focus yokes have different part numbers so you could swap one of them and see if that changes the focus characteristics of that tube.
