EXT V3 Gamma and contrast screws dont do anything at all.

Im quite sure it do, but you need to meassure it, dobt you will be able to detect by eye.

I always deactivate the gama section of the card.

Do you have a pic of your card, from the inside, so i can see the print layout.?


How do you deactivate the gamma? I would like to try that too.


No idea where those resistors are on the EXT V3.

Case, to get your contrast correct again set the EXT to 16-235 and run a white window into the HDMI at 100 IRE. Make sure the source is also outputting luma in range 16-235. You can use a test Bluray or a pattern generator.

Connect your oscilloscope to the GREEN RGB output and measure the p-p voltage. Adjust contrast such that the p-p is 0.7 volts.

If you send me a photo of the front and back of the EXT I can tell you what to pull off to disable gamma.

This is the external Moome v3. Can you tel how to disable the gamma on this one? The top yellow wires go to blue gamma and contrast pots.
