I'm hoping the lack of posts means he has it up and running and is enjoying a movie, vice troubleshooting some kind of issue!

It looks like its projecting nicely though! I like how viewable it is with your lights on, even being dim. If I did the same thing with my XG CRT, I would have a hard time seeing what its displaying Razz

Glad its working for you, if you ever want to sell it let me know Razz

Thankfully my buddy had a similar era receiver so I borrowed the remote. Apparently I could have struggled and done it without it, but it was easy to do. Still gotta find mine.

Anyways, watched the Hobbit last night and really enjoyed it. These won't do it justice as was taken with my phone.

Overall I was really impressed.

OMFG!!!! You were like "MOVE"... I'm considering it. We have a friend in Langley (Nearish to Curt) who keeps sending wife job postings.

I swear this is happening here right now in Calgary. You can even see my poor green tomatoes still on the vine on the deck.

Yes that's 3" of snow on the railing. I already had to f**king shovel the walk. 2 more days of this!

Wow, it's getting worse. Shoveled drive twice now and it's snowing harder than before.

6" on the railing in under 8 hours and the deepest I found was 7" in the middle of the deck.

Why do I live here....? Rolling Eyes

My poor tomatoes... dammit.

2 feet in 8 hours. Wow. Sounds like east coast "winter" weather. We still have 2 weeks of summer supposedly. I've seen snow in every month here, but never had to shovel in summer. About to go out for the 3rd time...

We can have drifts that will cover your house, but in winter, not September. My tomatoes needed 2 more weeks of ok weather.

Wow snow in early Sep. I thought it was cooling off down here until I got in the car today. The temp gauge said over 100. It was probably in the low 90s. I have been thinking of buying a jet ski, grab a bunch of hotties and take them out in the bay.

It was at 100 exactly yesterday here

They claim its going to cool down later in the week(yeah right)

Last winter we had sub zero temps(it was crazy)

A jet ski doesn't sound like a bad idea Smile

Well, it took 2 full days, but now it's 18-24" deep. Trees are losing limbs like crazy. The snow is 1/2 slush with new powder on top. There's a busy intersection 8 houses away and I've been listening to emergency vehicles all morning. Snow is supposed to be gone by Friday... Rolling Eyes

That reminds me of the Surprise October storm we had her about 7 years ago. Massive damage to power lines and trees.

It took longer than expected, but as of Sunday the snow is all but gone. Just dead tomato plants to show something happened. Wow, that purple tree was close to losing limbs when you compare it to last photo. Sheesh. Went out that day and smacked all the trees with a rake to get the snow weight off. Seemed to work. I'm the only one on my street not putting out huge piles of downed limbs by their garbage (city is taking downed limbs away for free).
