Seems boost is ok. Does the same with me.
Perhaps but not likely the EHT board is giving a BCL (beam current limiting) signal to soon. Perhaps change the EHT if you tried everything else? |
He another thing to try. I replaced my complete HV section with quad splitter and EHT from my 809 and certainly my contrast went up. I had not measured this before might be a change in my driver too but not likely as I measured more light before when I replaced the quad. The gamma changed also a little but again that might be the driver.

I replaced my old quad with a brand new and confirm such behaviour.
Another push will be brand new tubes of course

Is there still someone that has brand new ones? Are they being made somewhere?

Barco does not manufacture CRT projector parts anymore. If some planetarium or military sim are still supported, only NOS parts are aviable.
The only new quad i know off, is for sale for 450$ ( 340€ ).
